After visiting 5 cities and 5 autonomous prefectures in Yunnan, my love for this land has grown day by day. A few days ago, we arrived in Mile, which can be reached directly by high-speed rail. Unexpectedly, my child loved it so much that our originally planned three-day, two-night trip was extended to ten days. This small town is really suitable for a long stay! 🚄 Convenient transportation: You can reach Mile directly by high-speed rail in just 30 minutes, which is incredibly convenient! 👣 Recommended three-day, two-night itinerary Day ① 📍 Visit Taiping Lake Park during the day This place seems to be full of scenes from Hayao Miyazaki's animations, picturesque in all seasons, and also features rare karst landscapes. The little train and pigeon feeding are favorites of children. The park is large enough to spend the whole day. 📍 Head to Quanhu Ecological Park in the evening Known as the little Sanya of Mile, Xiaobei almost plays here for 2 hours every evening after dinner. You can ride bikes, catch fish, and play with sand, not wanting to go home even after dark. Day ② 📍 Jinping Mountain Mile Temple Here stands the world's largest seated Maitreya Buddha statue, 19.99 meters high, nestled among the lush trees of Jinping Mountain. You can choose to take a sightseeing car or walk up 1999 steps to the top. Even a four-year-old can easily climb these 1999 steps. 📍 Keyi Town This is an ancient Yi town with a history of over 300 years, well-preserved and mostly inhabited by local residents. There are also performances, and it is quite convenient to take a bus from the city. If you are staying for a long time, you can find almost all the daily necessities you need here. The most attractive part is the fruit store on the first floor, where the fruits are fresh and delicious. Day ③ 📍 Dongfeng Yun The red brick buildings here are unique, built entirely with local red bricks without a single steel bar, forming castles that are perfect for photos. However, there are not many activities for children. Since it is close to the high-speed rail station, it is arranged on the last day so that you can head directly to the station after visiting. 🏠 Accommodation recommendation Lake Spring Tianyi Hotel, consisting entirely of detached villas. The hotel is located within the Lake Spring Ecological Park, with a strong Bali style. You can swim and soak in hot springs in the villa, and after dinner, you can boat and play with black swans in the park.
