I rarely use the word "shocking" to describe a place, but there is a thousand-year-old temple hidden in Mianyang.

🏞️Attraction introduction: Shengshui Temple is located next to Luohan Temple in the northern section of Changhong Avenue, Fucheng District, covering an area of 0.0866 square kilometers. It is a Buddhist holy land across the Fujiang River, where tourists can visit, worship, and rest. Shengshui Temple is mainly composed of temples and Buddha statues, located in the Tazishan Scenic Area on the right bank of the Fujiang River in the west of Mianyang City. There are springs on the mountain, which have been famous for the holy water of Longquan since ancient times. It was originally named "Ganquan Temple". Its history can be traced back to the Yonghui period of the Tang Dynasty (650-655 AD), and it has been more than 1,300 years since then. It is one of the ancient temples with a long history in northwestern Sichuan. The ancient books record "the holy water falls on a thousand villages" and "drinking can cure diseases and avoid disasters", so it is called holy water.
