Miagao Church - A UNESCO World Heritage

The Miagao Church is a Baroque Spanish-era churches located in Miagao, Iloilo, Philippines. The church was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on December 11, 1993. Miagao Church was built from 1787 to 1797 to protect the people from the Moro invaders. The church's foundation is 6 meters deep and the massive stone walls is 1.5 meters thick. Where to stay: Iloilo City has plenty of hotels to choose from. I stayed in Go Hotel for convenience. Robinson's Mall is just next to the hotel. How to get there: I joined a local tour riding in a van, from Iloilo City. The joiners fee is Php 1300, inclusive of lunch. #mytripvlog #staycation #awesomepic #summervacation #urbanexplorer
