Pompeii, Italy, is an incredible destination that's easy to reach by train – you can't miss it because everyone on board has the same destination. Although it's usually packed with tourists, the site is vast, so you'll always find quiet spots to enjoy the views. It's a bit sad thinking about the tragic fate of the people there, but the scenery and nature are impressive. Pompeii isn't just about ruins; you'll find ancient drawings, graffiti, and even some explicit art if you're adventurous enough to look for them. There's also a museum at the entrance – make sure to visit it, unlike me, who missed it. After a long day exploring Pompeii, it's nice to sit down at a café to relax before taking the train back.
