Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden.

The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was established in 1959 by Chinese botanist Cai Xitao. It is located in Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. The botanical garden covers an area of about 1,125 hectares and has 38 specialized plant areas. It preserves a primary tropical rainforest with an area of about 250 square kilometers. The tropical rainforest wonders include the "board root phenomenon", "old stem flowering", "strangulation phenomenon", "single tree forest" and "air garden" in the tropical rainforest, presenting a mysterious and beautiful rainforest world to us tourists. The flowers and plants in the botanical garden will show different styles in different seasons, such as the egg flowers and dragon boat flowers blooming in midsummer, which make people marvel at the magic of nature.
