A popular outdoor recreation hotspot for locals and travelers alike, Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Thousands of different plants are grown here, and you can discover new views with every entry. Ideal for a picnic with friends, a walk with your pets, or a romantic wedding with a beautiful view, there is elegance and nature all around the grounds. The most recommended tour is to slowly explore from the main entrance, focusing on several notable areas, including the Lakeside Garden, the Herb Garden and the Australian Botanical Area. There are plenty of lawns along the way for companions to sit and enjoy a picnic time together.
