Fusheng Mansion in Nankou Overseas Chinese Village, Meizhou, Guangdong

Fusheng Mansion was built by the Indonesian Chinese Pan Yanshou in 1965. It is a Hakka square enclosed house with two halls, two lateral sections, and three courtyards. In front of the house, there is a paddy drying area and a geomantic pond, with a well to the front left. The building covers an area of about 200 square meters, with three doors opening in the front. The central door is concave, with a stone frame, and the words "Fusheng Mansion" are embedded above the door. The porch is adorned with exquisite color paintings on both sides. The whole house is made of rammed earth and wood structure, with stone lattice windows embedded in the outer wall in front of the house, and the official hat gable wall has a stone window with the character "喜". Fusheng Mansion was built during a period of national hardship, yet it still follows the authentic Hakka architectural tradition, which is extremely valuable.
