Mdina and its underground catacombs

You can get there by bus from Valletta. It was once the capital and is said to be the oldest town in Malta. The town is surrounded by walls and you enter through a gate. The square with St. Paul's Cathedral is the center of the town. It is a small town that still retains its heavy medieval influence, so I recommend taking your time to enjoy the atmosphere. There are also underground catacombs that you can enter just outside the walls. It has a mysterious atmosphere, so I recommend you go there at least once. #EuropeTravel #Malta #Mdina
