REF Matsuyama by VESSEL HOTELS

My mother stayed here recently and the breakfast was so good that she wanted me to try it too, so she requested this hotel and we stayed together. It was very convenient, about 1 minute from Matsuyama City Station. First, after checking in at the front desk on the 2nd floor, we had a welcome drink in the lobby, which had a natural atmosphere and a soda and juice machine, a coffee machine, and an ice bucket with ice. Then, when we came back from eating dinner, there was a soft serve ice cream service, so we made our own soft serve ice cream (tangerine, vanilla, mix) and ate it. We were given a room on the 12th floor, and the view was great, with Matsuyama Castle visible. The room was clean and had a nice atmosphere, and there were plenty of outlets and a place to charge USB devices, so it was very convenient. I wanted to try the Mirable shower in the large public bath, so I was glad I could try it. There was also an open-air bath and a mist sauna. I wanted to try the Dyson hair dryer, so I was glad I could try it. I thought the facilities were very well-equipped. And the next morning, we had the famous breakfast. There were five kinds of mandarin orange juice, so we tried them all. The Kiyomi was delicious! There were various local dishes such as sea bream rice, fried sardines, potato simmered fish, sweet miso soup with Matsuyama age, boiled whitebait caught at Sadamisaki, and Yawatahama champon, which were all fun and delicious. There was also mandarin orange dressing for the salad. There was also tuna, yellowtail, and sea bream sashimi, which was delicious and I thought it was rare to see sashimi. There was also local pure rice unfiltered sake. There were also various sweets such as small sakura mochi, roasted green tea pudding, fruit jelly, dorayaki that you can make by choosing the filling, and strawberry and mandarin orange sorbet, so it was fun to try various things. It was also nice that the plates and bowls were Tobe ware, a specialty of Matsuyama. My mother and I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the breakfast. I'm glad I had a great time staying here. Thank you very much!
