Matsushima, oh Matsushima, Matsushima

I came to Byakue Kannon Observatory because it is a place where you can get a panoramic view of Matsushima. It takes about 5-6 minutes on foot from the free parking lot. It's a bit of a climb, but the view is great. Personally, it's the best in Matsushima. If you don't have a car, it's about a 20-minute walk from Matsushima-kaigan Station. There are public toilets, and if you get tired, you can have tea while looking out at Matsushima at a stylish indoor restaurant nearby called "Cafe Le Roman." Saigyo-Modoshi-no-Matsu Park is famous, but many people don't know about this observation deck, so I recommend it.
