Matsumae Castle, Hokkaido

I went to Matsumae Castle in Matsumae Town, Hokkaido. It's a famous spot for cherry blossoms, and can be reached by car from Hakodate in about two hours. It's a small castle, but the cherry blossoms are so beautiful that it's worth the trip. In Hokkaido, cherry blossoms bloom one month later than in Honshu, so it's a good deal to be able to enjoy the cherry blossoms twice. #sakura #hotelroyalpark
