The cherry blossoms are splendid

The cherry blossoms bloom in radiant beauty, with the pink trees and clouds dyeing the view breathtakingly. After dozens of trips to Japan, it was in Matsue, Shikoku, that I first admired the brilliance of the Kawazu early cherry blossoms. Trees laden with flowers, like clouds or like rosy mists, envelop one in a springtime of pink splendor and romance, intoxicating to behold. The weather is clear, the fragrance wafts gently, and standing amidst the cherry blossoms, even if not for the purpose of flower viewing, one can't help but become an admirer.
