Quick Holiday Break @Manila Prince Hotel

#newyearadventure Manila Prince hotel housed us for a 3-day holiday in Manila. The hotel lobby is very well-lighted, clean, but there was some kind of smell that gives you a hint that the building has existed for quite a long time. But overall, it was a great place to stay, not expensive, food was decent, and food was great. The staff welcomed us politely and ushered as to our rooms. You can feel their friendliness and they made sure everything was comfortable for the guests. There were a lot of people because aside from it was peak season during the holiday, a lot of government meetings/events were held in the hotel.

Fort Santiago

📍Fort Santiago Fort Santiago in Manila, Philippines, is a historic fortress located in the Intramuros district. Built during the Spanish colonial period in the late 16th century, it served as an important military base for defending Manila. Surrounded by thick stone walls and a moat, barracks and warehouses remain, conveying the atmosphere of the time. It also bears a tragic history, having been used as a Japanese military facility during World War II and interned many people. It is also known as the place where Philippine national hero Jose Rizal was imprisoned before his execution. It is now a tourist attraction, with tickets costing around 200 yen. If you're visiting Manila, be sure to check it out! #TravelWithPochiKatsu
