The Ultimate One-Day Itinerary for Mangshi

My One-Day Mangshi Tour Route: 1️⃣10:08 Yinjia Breakfast (Main Store) A famous internet-famous breakfast spot renowned for its abundant condiments, where each bowl of noodles can be customized to individual tastes. 2️⃣10:40 Mengbanaxi Rare Garden I usually enjoy gardening at home, even though I've killed quite a few plants—I just love it! This garden is all-encompassing, featuring plants, animals, jade, antiques, calligraphy, and paintings. Though small, it's fully equipped—perfect for lazy travelers who don't want to walk much! 😬 3️⃣11:47 Meng Huan Golden Pagoda & Silver Pagoda I only took photos of the Golden Pagoda from the outside but bought a ticket to enter the Silver Pagoda (since the exterior of the Silver Pagoda isn't photogenic, haha 😆). Having visited Southeast Asia frequently, temples aren't high on my must-see list, but these are Mangshi's most famous landmarks. My impression? A miniature "White Temple." 4️⃣12:46 Peacock Valley Forest Park Visiting during off-peak hours meant fewer tourists. I was most looking forward to the peacock release, but the highlight turned out to be feeding the peacocks at the last stop—I'd never seen so many peacocks gathered together! I could've fed them all day. Being around animals is so relaxing! If you're not a peacock enthusiast, I wouldn't recommend it—it's a bit far, and the ticket price feels like a "hidden charge" compared to other attractions. The other activities? Emmmm~~~ you know what I mean. Still, Peacock Valley became my favorite part of the trip. 5️⃣16:44 Coconut Tree 🌴 Street (near Bodhi Temple) An internet-famous photo spot—since you're already here, why not? The coconut trees and pink zebra crossings create a unique charm, but it's not worth a special trip just for the street. 6️⃣19:40 Baiste Food City After a short rest at the hotel, I headed downstairs to eat. Staying at a hotel next to Baiste made it super convenient. The food court wasn't as amazing as online rumors suggested, but it was decent. 7️⃣20:30 Mangshi Square The night before, I went straight to Dai Ancient Town and Xinwanchang Night Market after landing, so today I explored nearby. Locals, men and women alike, formed circles dancing in the square like a bonfire party. The square also had various daily goods stalls and snacks—very down-to-earth.
