This hidden gem of a guesthouse in Mangshi is just too good to stay at

1. The guesthouse is located in a villa area next to the Dai ancient town, very close to various attractions, and there is a back door that leads directly into the ancient town. The entire villa area is beautiful and seems to be newly built, filled with various styles of guesthouses. This particular guesthouse has the most ethnic characteristics. It opened in 2023 and has four rooms, each decorated in a different ethnic style. We stayed in a room with three 1.5m beds. The room is very large, with central air conditioning, an intelligent toilet, and high-quality bedding and toiletries. It also has a balcony where you can dry clothes, with tables and chairs for tea and chatting. 2. The hostess of the guesthouse is a biology teacher, and she takes great care of the flowers and plants in the yard. As soon as you enter, you are surrounded by blooming flowers. The yard has a pond and a small pavilion. In summer, you can eat fruit and drink tea, and in winter, you can cook tea around the stove. If it rains and it's inconvenient to go out, taking photos in the yard also turns out great. 3. The host and hostess are very enthusiastic. They will contact you in advance to arrange airport pickup. As soon as you arrive at the guesthouse, they will serve pre-chilled mangoes. They will cook corn and eggs for breakfast and accompany us for tea and chatting. The hostess is very knowledgeable about food, and we followed her recommendations and loved everything. If you want to eat any ethnic specialty dishes, just ask her. The service is excellent and it's a place worth visiting.
