Make sure to replenish after sweating. Easily overlooked areas: hands and arms! (I didn't replenish my hands in time and got two shades darker) Ps- Two days in Mangshi are completely enough. The most attractive things are the kindness and enthusiasm of the locals and the unique Dai cuisine. 🫵🏻Check-in places: · Bodhi Street (p1): Stroll around, great for photos! It's a T-junction, so be mindful of vehicles and people coming and going, and stay safe! · New Play Factory Night Market (p2-3): Strolling around the night market in the evening is also a good choice. There are various local snacks to try. · Gold and Silver Pagodas (p4-8): We only went to the Silver Pagoda. Climbing up the Silver Pagoda, you can see the best view of the Gold Pagoda. The two pagodas are close to each other, so you can choose to visit one or both depending on your schedule. The road to the Silver Pagoda can be walked without taking the sightseeing car. It's about a 1km uphill path with three turns to reach the Silver Pagoda. Climbing slowly is not tiring. Along the way, you can see the best view of the Gold Pagoda. 🏨Accommodation recommendation We stayed in the Dai Ancient Town (p9) Highly recommend the homestay we stayed at! The owner is very nice and enthusiastic! They will help with luggage. The owner made a guide to the local food that locals often eat! Based on the recommendations, the restaurants we went to (p10-11) were all frequented by locals, and the taste was very authentic.
