Finding a whole bunch of Durian sellers on the roads of Taungngoo

#favouriteitinerary Durians might be the national fruit of Malaysia but there are plenty of sellers and fans in Myanmar too! During Durian season, many local sellers bring their harvest on trucks and line up to sell them. They are very generous and will even peel the fruit for you to eat it on the way. My family is always divided by the lovers vs. the ones that can’t even stand the smell 🤣. You can find plenty of them at Mandalay and Yangon but my favorite is the ones from Taungngoo city! They just hit really different. Definitely recommend tasting local grown durians from Myanmar if you’re ever there!
