Manchester’s city park

Many cities across the world have a famous park at the heart and Manchester is no exception. Heaton Park was once the estate of the stately home that still stands today as Heaton Hall. Over 100 years ago the land was gifted to the local council for the enjoyment of its population, and ever since then that’s what’s happened. The park is home to many attractions from an animal centre, world class golf course, boating lake and superb high ropes course.
