[Mana Iride Resort] A casual resort where you can enjoy Fijian culture and snorkeling

Access: 90 minutes by speedboat or 45 minutes by water taxi from Denarau Marina Rating: ★★★★⭐︎ [Room] I stayed in the most casual room, the "Island Bure". There was a king bed, sofa, low table, extra bed, safety box, sink, toilet, and outdoor shower. It wasn't luxurious, but it was a typical Fijian room. No mineral water service. Tap water is drinkable, but it is recommended to boil it once. The hotel's shop is expensive, so I recommend purchasing it at the marina. [Surrounding sea] The sea at Mana Island Resort is roughly divided into three parts. South Beach (pier side) North Beach (restaurant, pool side) Sunset Beach (away from each facility) There are beaches on both sides of the island, so even if the conditions on one side are bad, you can swim on the other side. South Beach has a lot of fish, and North Beach has beautiful coral and you can meet sea turtles. It's rare to find a place so close to the beach with so many different kinds of fish. We enjoyed snorkeling from the beach. The sea is clearer in the early hours, but it's often impossible to swim at North Beach in the morning due to low tide. You can rent snorkel goggles, fins, and life jackets for free. You can also rent kayaks for free. [Pool] It's not big, but there is a pool on the North Beach side. The water is cold. [Meals] We chose a plan that included breakfast and dinner. It's not luxurious, but we never got bored of the buffet, which had a different theme every day. The grilled lobster, octopus, and mahi-mahi were delicious. It's semi-outdoors, so there are flies, but they gradually stop bothering you. [Activities] Various activities are held every day. We participated in fish feeding. A lot of black fish came. Polynesian shows are also held several times a week, and are well worth watching. There is also a hill nearby with a great view, and the view from there is also spectacular. [Other] There is a Japanese staff member, Chikako, so there are a slightly higher number of Japanese people. However, the majority of the clientele are Australians, so you can fully enjoy the overseas atmosphere. There is a coin laundry, but it is expensive, so I washed my clothes by hand. #Fiji #TravelingWithMe #FijiTrip #ManaIride #Snorkeling
