Myohoji Temple This

Myohoji Temple This temple is located at 53 Nishi, Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, and is said to have been founded at the end of the Muromachi period between 1570 and 1573. The temple's treasures, two of which are wooden paintings created during the Edo period, one of which is a white hawk on a cypress tree and the other is a Chinese child playing, and were designated as cultural properties of Maizuru City in 1993 for their preciousness. It is a 13-minute walk from JR Nishi-Maizuru Station. The vermilion mountain gate is impressive, and the roof tiles on the grounds are onigawara (demon tiles) on the roof to the right of the main hall, and were made in Bunkyu 2. #triplucky2022
