Maldives are not expensive!

If you think that Maldives are expensive - well, you are mistaken - I’ve spend a week there and spent less than 2000$ including hotels, food and beautiful views! I advise you NOT to stay in the capital as there is almost nothing to do and you can not fully enjoy the beach as it is meant for locals, which means you can swim only in clothes. But the local island are wonderful. I’ve chosen a small guest house located in #mahibadhoo. The stuff is friendly and for 6 nights with breakfasts included I paid around 600$. Though you should know that small islands have limited amount of beaches for foreigners and less things to do. You should prepare spare money if you want to swim with dolphins and sharks. Also in small guest houses there are no variations of fruits and vegetables as the country doesn’t grow them. If you are searching for calm vacations with the nice beach and sea to enjoy and NOT to spend so much money, then you definitely can choose small islands in Maldives. #maldives
