Khun Wang, Chiang Mai

#TravelChat 🗓 Day 1: Chiang Mai City → Khun Wang Morning Leave Chiang Mai and head to the Khun Wang Highland Agricultural Research Station (Mae Wang District, ~2.5–3 hours drive). From late December to February, the highlight is the blooming Himalayan cherry blossoms (Thai cherry blossoms) throughout the valley. Take photos with the cherry blossom tunnel and other winter flowers. Lunch Eat a simple meal at the agricultural center (with a small shop). Or pack a picnic and enjoy a meal amidst the flowers. 🌸 Afternoon Walk through the coffee plantations, flower gardens, and nature trails. Stop at Baan Khun Wang Homestay or stay in accommodations in the Mae Wang area for mountain and mist views. Evening Have a simple dinner at your homestay. The weather is quite chilly, so a sweater is recommended.
