Truly Ethical Elephant Sanctuary in Chiang Mai

One of the most chill experiences I had in Chiang Mai was spending half a day trip at Chang Chill, an ethical elephant sanctuary tucked into the hills. No rides, no shows, no feeding, no bathing just elephants being elephants. I watched them roam freely, graze, and bathe themselves in the river, all at their own pace. We followed quietly along forest trails, listening to the sounds of nature and learning about each elephant’s story from the friendly guides. The vibe was calm, respectful, and grounding.
