Seven-Colored Fountain, Chiang Mai Province

The path to the fountain is convenient. It is about 300 meters from Buathong Waterfall. Seven-Colored Fountain is a pond with a diameter of about 7 meters and a depth of about 2 meters. The water in the pond is very clear. There is a calcium carbonate solution mixed in. At the bottom of the pond, you can see the water is greenish-blue. When the light shines down on it, you will see the water in rainbow colors. This is the origin of the name Seven-Colored Fountain. It is a mineral water that has calcium carbonate that shoots up from the ground and flows into a stream, gathering into a small waterfall.
