Before the rainy season came to an end, I decided to visit Pha Hee Village in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province. This small village nestled in the mountains is surrounded by lush green forests and coffee plantations. On the way up, I was greeted by a gentle mist mingling with light rain, creating an indescribable sense of tranquility. This morning, I woke up to find the entire valley blanketed in white mist. Sipping a hot cup of coffee at the community coffee shop while gazing at the layered mountain views felt like a deep immersion into nature. The locals here are warm and friendly, sharing fascinating stories about Pha Hee coffee, which is quite renowned. There are also small activities like walking through the coffee gardens and learning about the community's way of life. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat before winter arrives, this place is perfect. With its cool weather, serene atmosphere, and the rare charm of the rainy season that’s hard to find in big cities, this short trip truly recharged my spirit.
