Fish Cave in Mae Hong Son

Fish Cave in Mae Hong Son is a prominent natural tourist attraction in Mae Hong Son province. Located within the Fish Cave-Pha Suea Waterfall National Park, it is approximately 17 kilometers from Mae Hong Son city and can be visited year-round. --- 🐟 Highlights of Fish Cave Natural Pool: At the cave entrance, there is a natural pool about 2 meters wide and 1.5 meters deep. The water is crystal clear and flows out of the cave all year round. Stone Carp Shoal: Large fish residing in the pool, characterized by their big scales and bluish-gray color, are locally known as "Pla Mung" in the local dialect. Local Beliefs: Villagers believe these fish are sacred "royal fish" and should not be caught or consumed, as doing so may bring bad luck.
