I had wondrous walks around Madrid truly immersing in the atmosphere of Christmas. I loved looking at the decorations and lights around. It was very crowded at times but that did not stop me from taking photos. It was amazing to stumble upon squares and alleys all around, I do suggest to take your time and enjoy the scenery and spots especially the squares. There is also lots of historical buildings around and something to learn about as well. I must say it was fairly easy to walk around as all the streets and squares were connected hence you do not even need to take the metro nor bus.
