The lighthouse building is a cylindrical structure, with a base diameter of 7 meters tapering to 5 meters at the top. It has three internal levels connected by a spiral staircase. The lighthouse is 15 meters tall, with a giant searchlight at the top that can reach up to 16 nautical miles. Next to the lighthouse is the Chapel of Our Lady of Guia, featuring the characteristics of a 17th-century Portuguese monastery. Historically, this area was a military facility and still retains tunnels and cannons, serving as a tourist attraction. The mountaintop is an excellent photo spot, offering views of the Grand Lisboa Hotel, Zhuhai, and Taipa Island. Down from the lighthouse is "Rua Nova à Guia" (Guia New Street), a classic photo spot in Macau. There are two ways to get there: 1. Take the cable car at Flora Garden. 2. Walk or take a car to the vicinity. For ascending from the south, you can cross the pedestrian bridge from "Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues", follow the arrows → take the elevator to the side of the mountain, and then walk up the small path.
