Day 1: The Glory and Tradition of Firefighting In the morning, we visited the Macau Fire Services Museum, a building from the 1920s that holds the long history of Macau's fire brigade. The museum showcases early firefighting equipment and precious artifacts, from manual water pumps to modern fire trucks, witnessing the progress of technology and the changes of the times. The most captivating part is the heroic stories of firefighters and the realistic simulations, which make one feel the responsibility and selfless dedication behind protecting the city. In the afternoon, we moved to A-Ma Temple, the oldest temple in Macau, filled with the devotion of worshippers. Amidst the lingering incense, the ancient culture and traditions continue, inspiring respect. Day 2: The Continuation of Culture and the Bustling Streets On the second day, we first visited the Ruins of St. Paul's, a landmark of Macau that exudes a strong religious and historical atmosphere. The exquisite carvings record the glorious past of cross-cultural exchanges. Then we strolled to Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, a bustling street full of the colors of Chinese and Western cultural integration. The shops and food stalls along the way are fascinating, making one feel the vitality and prosperity of modern Macau. The two-day itinerary not only allowed us to deeply explore the history and culture of Macau but also to experience the unique charm of the intertwining of modernity and tradition.
