There are no shortcuts to traveling in Macau, just lots of walking.

When I travel to Macau, I usually choose to stay in a hotel in Taipa, but if you want to experience the history and culture of Macau, you definitely need to spend a day or two in the Macau Peninsula. 📍Recommended routes: 1⃣️A-Ma Temple - Senado Square - Ruins of St. Paul's This route allows you to visit the World Heritage Historic Centre of Macau, with attractions such as A-Ma Temple, Lilau Square, St. Lawrence's Church, and St. Joseph's Seminary and Church for photo ops. 2⃣️Grand Lisboa - Guia Hill - Ruins of St. Paul's This route allows you to take photos at the same spot as National Geographic on Guia Hill. The view is stunning. It is recommended to bring a telephoto lens or use the telephoto function on your phone to take photos. 3⃣️Explore the North District, Cool Macau (you can locate the area around Chopsticks Base North Bay Rest Area, Iao Hon Market Park, Hac Sa Wan Park, Oriental Pearl Street, etc.) This is a real residential area in Macau with few tourists, so you can experience the most authentic life in Macau. The trendy toy character João, a native Portuguese boy, takes everyone to explore the "New Eight Scenic Spots of Macau" in different images through the "Portal", as well as the text landmark "Hello Macau Street" installation. 🛍️There are many souvenir shops in Macau. If you don't know how to choose, I recommend going to Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center near Senado Square. The products here are all certified by the Macau Product Quality Certification, so you can buy with confidence. I bought three boxes of almond cakes for my family for 100 MOP, and got a box of egg rolls for free. 🚇To travel between Taipa and the Macau Peninsula, you can choose to take the Macau Light Rail. You can also take the bus for 6 MOP, or take the free shuttle bus provided by various hotels, which is very convenient.
