Leave No Regrets: Recommended One-Day Tour Route for the Macau Peninsula

For a 3-day tour in Macau, spend the first day on Taipa Island, the second on the Peninsula, and the third on Coloane Island. For the other two days' routes, please refer to my other notes. Taipa Island is mainly known for its hotels, while the Peninsula is where the old streets are, brimming with Macanese culture. 🔹 Macau Peninsula Route: Fisherman's Wharf--Guia Lighthouse--Calçada do Amparo--Ruins of St. Paul's (Macau Museum, Monte Fort, Na Tcha Temple)--Love Lane--St. Dominic's Church--Senado Square (Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau Building)--Rua da Felicidade--Grand Lisboa Macau--Guia Hill Viewing Platform--Escada do Coxo--A-Ma Temple 🔹 Complete the route with 25,000 steps. Search for the place names and follow the navigation. The various alleys of the old streets have a strong local flavor, and there are all kinds of delicacies along the way, no need to search deliberately. 🔹 Detailed Introduction: 1. Fisherman's Wharf: Ancient Roman architecture, by the sea, suitable for photography 2. Guia Lighthouse: Overlooking the Grand Lisboa Hotel 3. Calçada do Amparo: Dopamine Portuguese architecture, with stairs, good for photography 4. Ruins of St. Paul's: You can go up from the museum sign, take the elevator all the way, and come down the other side without backtracking, and you can see the surrounding old houses 5. Love Lane: Dopamine Portuguese architecture, right next to the Ruins of St. Paul's, quick to visit 6. St. Dominic's Church: You can go in for photography 7. Senado Square: Just take photos 8. Rua da Felicidade: The same angle as in 'National Geographic' 9. Grand Lisboa Macau: The same angle as the Casino King 10. Guia Hill Viewing Platform: You can see the Macau Tower, and the nearby villas are the residential area for the wealthy in Macau 11. Escada do Coxo: A photogenic spot, pink buildings, all the way to the sea, with the Macau Tower in the background 12. A-Ma Temple: World cultural heritage, very popular, open from 8:00-18:00 🔹 Other Tips: 1. You can also do this route in reverse; if it gets too late, A-Ma Temple will be closed 2. You can take the same photo at Rua da Felicidade, then take a bus to A-Ma Temple, Escada do Coxo, and in the evening you can take pictures of the Macau Tower and the bridge at night from Guia Hill, and then go to Grand Lisboa for night views 3. The old town area of the Peninsula has sloped roads, so comfortable shoes are needed 4. If you are in Macau for 3 days, you can split this day's itinerary into two days for more comfort 5. I spent the first day on Taipa, the second day on the Peninsula to Grand Lisboa and then returned to the hotel, the third day on Coloane Island with plenty of time, so I could go to A-Ma Temple and Escada do Coxo in the morning For the other two days' routes, please refer to my other detailed notes.
