The most direct way to understand a city is to visit its museums. The Macao Museum is located in the old city area of the Macao Peninsula, which is a concentrated area of attractions. It is right next to the Ruins of St. Paul's, and you can get there by taking the escalator next to it. There is also a large fort nearby. 🍀 The Macao Museum is not large but very enjoyable to visit, divided into three floors: The first floor exhibits Macao's early history, the trade between the Chinese and Portuguese in Macao, their religious and cultural contacts, and the Macao culture that has gradually formed over hundreds of years; the second floor is the Macao Folk Art and Tradition Exhibition Area, displaying Macao's traditional culture, including folk art, religious ceremonies, and folk celebrations; the third floor shows the urban appearance of Macao today and the characteristics of the residents' lives, as well as literary works and artworks themed on Macao. 🍀 Some tips for visiting: 1⃣️ There is a free drinking water facility.
