The leprosy village has become a popular check-in spot.

In Coloane, Macau, there is a village called "Our Lady of Ká-Hó", which was a terrifying leper village several decades ago. Until 1963, an Italian priest came here and, feeling compassion for the discrimination suffered by the patients, renamed this place as the Our Lady of Kowloon Village and proposed the construction of the Chapel of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows. The Chapel of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows was first built in 1966, also known as the Mother of Pain Catholic Church. This church represents a beautiful hope and equality and inclusiveness. The triangular church is not large, but the color is exceptionally gentle and very healing. A row of colorful houses, once a shelter for leprosy patients, has now become a popular place to check in.
