One of the Eight Scenic Spots of Macau: "Exploring the Beauty of Lou Lim Ieoc Garden"

"Lu Lianruo Park (formerly known as Yuyuan, also known as Lu Family Garden)" is located in the central part of the Macau Peninsula. It is a private garden of Macau's wealthy businessman Lu Lianruo, which was built in 1904. The layout of the park is well-arranged, with peculiar peaks and rocks piled up by artificial hills, towering trees, bamboo forests, blooming flowers, pavilions, corridors, ponds, bridges, waterfalls, picturesque scenery, and a layout similar to the Lion Grove Garden in Suzhou. It is the only famous garden in Hong Kong and Macau with the charm of Suzhou gardens. In 1974, it was opened to the public as a park.
