The majestic and awe-inspiring cathedral from the 17th century.

Lviv is filled with beautiful churches, and St. George's Cathedral is certainly not to be missed. Although it is a bit of a distance from the city center, it is located on a small hill. From the main street, turn into an old alley, park your bike in the beautiful and shady Ivan Franko Park, and walk up a small hill slope to reach this beautiful yellow church. St. George's Cathedral is a Baroque-Rococo style cathedral, surrounded by beautiful gardens/parks. There is also an observation deck on the church platform overlooking the city. The cathedral itself is large and well-preserved. There are several statues around it that are somewhat hidden, making it a great place to explore. In the attic of the cathedral, there is a statue of St. George, the dragon slayer, and a cross next to the entrance. The altar area is decorated with ancient murals and monuments.
