| A painful yet joyful night hike. Guys, I finally made it to the long-awaited Wugong Mountain! It's breathtakingly beautiful, but I'm never coming back again 😭 However, looking back now, I feel it was all worth it. Just after midnight, my friends and I embarked on our night hike up Wugong Mountain. The night was pitch black, with only our flashlights illuminating the path. Sweat poured endlessly, and my heart raced wildly—whether from exhaustion or excitement, I couldn't tell. Finally, at 5:30 in the morning, we reached the summit. As the first rays of sunlight gently bathed us, the sea of clouds before us seemed edged in gold, so stunning it took my breath away. In that moment, all fatigue vanished, and I felt as if I were in a fairyland. But beautiful moments are always fleeting, and the descent was the real challenge. As the saying goes, "Going up is easy; coming down is hard," and this time, I truly understood it. Every step sent protests from my knees, and my calves ached unbearably. It felt like my legs no longer belonged to me. After two grueling hours, I finally spotted the cable car 🚡. Back at the hotel, I collapsed onto the bed. When I finally regained my senses, I realized my legs were in so much pain I couldn’t even stand—every movement was excruciating 😭.
