Lushan 2-Day/1-Night Classic Itinerary—Easy to Understand

Hey guys👋, I'm back! This time I'm sharing my 2-day/1-night Lushan travel experience. It was super fun, so save this post! 🚗Transportation I took the high-speed train to Lushan Railway Station. There were a lot of touts outside the station, but just ignore them🙅‍♀️. You can take the tourist shuttle bus right at the station exit for CNY15 per person, which will take you directly to the entrance of the Lushan Scenic Area. If you're driving, be aware that some sections of the roads within the scenic area have traffic restrictions, so it's best to check in advance. 🎫Tickets Lushan tickets are CNY160 per person, with half-price tickets for students🎈. You can scan the QR code to buy tickets directly at the entrance, which is very convenient. Remember to bring your ID card, as you'll need to swipe it for verification when entering the park. 🏠Accommodation I stayed at a B&B in Guling Town, which was super convenient. There were tons of restaurants and shops nearby, and you could even go out for a stroll at night. The B&B room was clean and tidy, and the owner was super friendly and gave me lots of recommendations for fun places to visit and delicious food🥰. Plus, the B&B was within walking distance of all the attractions, so I could enjoy the beautiful scenery just a few steps away. It was amazing👍. 🌟Itinerary Day 1: Ruqin Lake - Flower Path - Jinxiu Valley - Sky Bridge - Xianfeng - Fairy Cave - Imperial Stele Pavilion I woke up naturally in the morning, had a leisurely breakfast, and then set off for Ruqin Lake🌊. Ruqin Lake was so beautiful, the water was crystal clear, like a mirror reflecting the surrounding green mountains and trees, just like a stunning landscape painting🖼️. Strolling along the lake, with the breeze on my face, was super relaxing. Not far from Ruqin Lake is the Flower Path🌸. This is said to be the place where Bai Juyi wrote his poem "Peach Blossoms in Dalin Temple". I was immediately captivated by all kinds of flowers, colorful and beautiful. Taking photos among the flowers, every shot turned out great📷. Next, I arrived at Jinxiu Valley. The scenery here was truly breathtaking, with unique peaks, strange rocks, and deep canyons, as if I had stepped into a fairyland🧚‍♀️. Walking along the plank road in the valley, I admired the beautiful scenery and marveled at the wonders of nature. As I walked, I reached the Sky Bridge. Although it's not a real bridge, taking photos there, with the deep canyon as the backdrop, was super cool😎. After crossing the Sky Bridge, I continued on to Xianfeng. Standing on Xianfeng, I could overlook the magnificent scenery of the entire valley. That feeling is truly beyond words, you must experience it for yourself. Finally, I arrived at the Fairy Cave. There were many strangely shaped rocks here, and a clear spring flowed out from the crevices, which was quite magical. The Imperial Stele Pavilion next to it was also full of history. After visiting here, the first day's itinerary was almost complete. I went back to the B&B for a good rest and prepared for the next day's journey. Day 2: Hanpokou - Five Old Men Peak - Sandie Spring I got up early the next day to watch the sunrise at Hanpokou🌅. Hanpokou is an excellent location for viewing the sunrise in Lushan, with a very wide view. As the sun slowly rose, the golden sunlight sprinkled on the earth, and the whole world turned golden. The breathtaking beauty was truly unforgettable. However, remember to check the weather in advance if you want to see the sunrise, otherwise you might miss it. After watching the sunrise, I had breakfast to replenish my energy, and then headed to Five Old Men Peak. There are five peaks in total, each with different scenery. The climb was a bit tiring, but when I stood at the top, overlooking the surrounding rolling mountains and Poyang Lake below, a sense of accomplishment welled up inside me💪. After descending from Five Old Men Peak, I took the sightseeing bus to Sandie Spring. Sandie Spring is truly the highlight of Lushan, with the saying "You haven't been to Lushan if you haven't been to Sandie Spring". I could hear the roar of the waterfall before I even got close. Seeing the majestic waterfall cascading down the mountain, dividing into three sections, with water splashing everywhere, was truly spectacular👏. Be careful when taking photos here, as the ground is quite slippery. 🍱Food Lushan also has a lot of delicious food. I highly recommend Lushan stone frog🐸, the meat is tender, tasty, and the texture is superb. There's also Lushan bamboo shoot skin with braised pork, the bamboo shoot skin absorbs the flavor of the meat, making it especially delicious with rice. Also, the scrambled eggs with stone fish are quite good. The stone fish are small but very fresh, and when scrambled with eggs, the taste is particularly fragrant. You can find these dishes in many restaurants in Guling Town, and the prices are reasonable. This 2-day/1-night trip to Lushan was so much fun, and the beautiful scenery of Lushan is truly unforgettable. If you love traveling, you must come to Lushan and experience it for yourself💕.
