Jiujiang Donglin Temple and Xilin Temple are great for religious experiences and cozy homestays.

You can get Buddhist scriptures at the circulation office of Donglin Temple. I got a Buddhist scripture player and Pure Land Buddhism essays for my grandma, and a comic version of "Liao Fan's Four Lessons." The Ancestral Hall here offers a VR experience of the Pure Land, which is great for those who are not good at visualization. I even want to get a VR chanting headset. Xilin Temple is on the way to the bus stop, very close to Donglin Temple. Lastly, I want to mention the Qianyi Homestay near Donglin Buddha, which is in the last three pictures. The owner and his wife are very nice, and they didn't ask us to pay for the lost room card. There is a Catalpa Garden in the homestay where you can drink tea.
