Luoyang: Encountering Ancient Charm in Yunan Yuibei

You must visit Luoyang to feel the breeze of Luopu, taste the Ten Pear Fragrance of the old city, and experience the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty capital. For this Luoyang trip, I chose to stay at the Yunan Yuibei Garden Hotel, beginning an unforgettable Trip Moments experience in the ancient city. The hotel is hidden on Mashi Street in the old town, just 200 meters from Cross Street. It's a 9-minute walk to Luoyi Ancient City, around the corner from Lijing Gate, and a 10-minute bike ride to Yingtian Gate. This prime location allowed me to easily move between attractions. Stepping into the hotel felt like entering a poetic Jiangnan courtyard. Bridges span over flowing streams, ancient trees complement bamboo chairs, and beautiful flowers adorn the space—every step reveals a picturesque scene. The courtyard features an elegant tea room where you can enjoy a cup of tea in peaceful tranquility. My room was spacious and bright with a minimalist yet elegant decor. Central air conditioning, latex mattresses—every detail showed thoughtfulness. The room even included a complimentary snack package, perfect for recharging after a day of sightseeing. The hotel offers an amazing hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experience with various styles and exquisite accessories that dazzle the eye. Putting on hanfu instantly transported me back to ancient times. The hotel-recommended Taoyaoyao hanfu styling was particularly stunning. The makeup artist skillfully created a gentle, charming look based on my face shape and hanfu style. After getting dressed up, my Trip Moments journey officially began. My first stop was Luoyi Ancient City, filled with traditional Chinese architecture—pavilions, towers, bridges, and streams—making me feel like I was in an ancient capital from a thousand years ago. Here, every photo I took turned out beautifully. Leaving Luoyi Ancient City, it was just a 5-minute walk to Lijing Gate. At night, Lijing Gate was brilliantly lit and bustling with activity. I wandered through the crowds, absorbing the lively atmosphere of the ancient city while capturing these wonderful moments with my camera. The next day, I took the Princess Special Train for just 10 yuan to Yingtian Gate and Mingtang Tiantang. Yingtian Gate is magnificent, while Mingtang Tiantang is splendidly ornate. Here, I experienced the glory and honor of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Under the photographer's guidance, I struck various poses, making these historic buildings the perfect backdrop for my photos. This Luoyang trip was made even more wonderful because of the Yunan Yuibei Garden Hotel. It not only provided comfortable accommodation but also became an excellent starting point for my Trip Moments experience.
