White Horse Temple International Buddhist Shrine Garden

Located in Luoyang City, Henan Province, the White Horse Temple International Buddhist Shrine Garden was constructed with funding from the governments of India, Myanmar, and Thailand. Within the White Horse Temple, these countries built uniquely styled Buddhist shrines, making it the most internationally diverse Buddhist temple in the world, earning it the title "The First Temple Under Heaven." The shrine garden is divided into three main areas: the Thai Buddhist Shrine Garden, the Indian Buddhist Shrine Garden, and the Myanmar Pagoda Garden. Walking through the garden feels like traveling to foreign lands, as each shrine is imbued with rich exotic charm. Particularly noteworthy is the Thai Buddhist Shrine Garden, whose architectural style is inspired by Thai temple designs from the early 1990s. With its red-tiled roofs, golden spires, and intricately carved beams and painted rafters, it is truly breathtaking.
