👍Dingding Gate Ruins Museum: A World Cultural Heritage Site, originally built in the first year of the Sui Dynasty's Daye reign (605 AD). It was initially called Jianguo Gate during the early Sui Dynasty and later renamed Dingding Gate during the Tang Dynasty. 📌Emperor Yang of Sui built the Eastern Capital, and he was the first emperor to pass through Dingding Gate. Afterward, Dingding Gate successively served as the main gate of Luoyang's outer city wall during the Tang, Later Liang, Later Tang, Later Zhou, and Northern Song dynasties until it was gradually abandoned towards the end of the Northern Song Dynasty. 💫On June 22, 2014, the Dingding Gate Ruins of the Sui and Tang Dynasty Luoyang City were successfully inscribed on the World Heritage List as part of the "Silk Roads: The Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor" project jointly applied for by China, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. 🎈Visiting Guide: 👉🏻Basement level: The original site of the Dingding Gate Ruins, including the gate passage, column bases, stone city walls, and other relics.‌ 👉🏻Two floors above ground: Exhibits showcasing the evolution of the Dingding Gate Ruins and some of the artifacts unearthed during archaeological excavations.‌ 🎈Tips: 👉🏻Address: 400 meters west of the intersection of Longmen Avenue and Gucheng Road, Luolong District, Luoyang City. 👉🏻Transportation: Conveniently located, accessible by buses 53/55/57/58, etc. 👉🏻Opening hours: Open from 9:00 to 17:00.
