I have returned from Daocheng Yading in western Sichuan during the National Day trip.

Landed in Chengdu on the 28th, and joined the off-road tour group from the 29th to the 3rd 🚗5-day and 4-night Daocheng Yading travel guide. 🎫Main itinerary 1️⃣Day 1 Chengdu-Tianquan Service Area-Luding-Honghaizi-Gediram-Xinduqiao 2️⃣ Day 2 Xinduqiao-Xiongzongka Observation Deck-Litang-Tuershan-Daocheng White Pagoda-Shangri-La Town 3️⃣Day 3 Shangri-La Town-Daocheng Yading-Shangri-La Town 4️⃣Day 4: Shangri-La Town - Haizi Mountain - Touched a cow - Litang - Wild hilltop - Xinduqiao 5️⃣Day 5 Xinduqiao-Tagong Grassland-Gediram-Chengdu In fact, the route in western Sichuan is very simple. No matter you join a tour group or drive by yourself, it is the same road. Take Daocheng Yading as an example. On the first day from Chengdu to Xinduqiao, there are two routes, G318 (Zheduo Mountain) and S434 (Honghaizi). Generally, one route goes there and the other comes back. On the second day, there is only one route from Xinduqiao to Shangri-La Town; on the third day, you can play in Daocheng Yading for a day; on the fourth day, you return to Xinduqiao by the same route, and on the fifth day, you return to Chengdu. 🌟I'd like to mention that some tours will go to Daocheng Yading and Fourteen Girls Mountain together. In fact, I don't recommend it because I only went to Daocheng Yading, and the daily car ride time was about 7 hours. If you rush to Danba from Shangri-La or Daocheng on the fourth day, it will probably take 10 hours of driving. 📍At the beginning, I booked a small group of 2-8 people, 5 days and 4 nights in Daocheng Yading Fourteen Girls Mountain, but later I canceled it and changed it to a 4-person cross-country group that only went to Daocheng Yading. After playing, I felt that this decision was quite right 1️⃣There were only two couples in our cross-country group. The four of us agreed that the team leader could adjust the plan at any time, so we went to Gediram twice. We saw a lot of cows on the road. The girls in my team and I wanted to go down and touch the cows, so the team leader found a herd of cows on the side of the road for us to go down and play. We had a lot of fun! 2️⃣ On the fourth day when we returned to Xinduqiao, there was a traffic jam when entering the city. There was a row of cars parked on the side of the road, which prevented cars on both sides from driving in the opposite direction. The navigation showed that the traffic jam would last for half an hour, so we just rode along the curb and went in. 😝 3️⃣ There are many wild hills on the road from Daocheng County to Xinduqiao. The team leader stepped on the accelerator to the top of the mountain and let us look at the valley from the top of the mountain. It was so shocking! ⚠️The last and most important point is that a perfect trip requires a reliable leader and a good attitude. Neither of them can be missing. We didn’t have many sunny days on this trip, but we all felt that the scenery was beautiful. We didn’t see Rizhao Jinshan Mountain, but we saw Rizhao Jinshan Cape. It was dark when we went to Gediram on the first day, but we saw a little fox and fed it. We thought we couldn’t see the snow-capped mountains, so we didn’t go to Zheduo Mountain to see the snow scenery, but we saw endless snow-capped mountains in Tagong Grassland. 🌟Finally, if you don’t have a jacket, bring a down jacket. You can bring more hats🧢. They look good when you change them. White clothes and red scarves🧣 are really good in photos~
