Temple

A small temple next to Wat Wisoonrat, Wat Aham (name: The Flower Monastery) was built around 1818 by King Manthat Racha. The area where the temple was built was the area where Prince Ngum set up the city hall when he established Nakhon Si Sattahip, Lan Chang Rom Khao. This point is considered the navel of Luang Prabang. In front of the sim, there is a statue of a free-standing lion, painted with white cement. The interior of the temple is decorated with murals depicting the life of the Buddha and the Ramayana. This temple was definitely built. #historicculture
