Strolling through Luang Prabang, city walk all day

I stayed in Luang Prabang for four days. Except for taking a taxi to and from the train station and the hotel, I explored the city entirely on foot. Luang Prabang is the size of a small village, and walking is sufficient to cover the core areas. My family and I enjoy city walks, and we easily covered ten kilometers each day, strolling, stopping, eating, and drinking. The blue skies, white clouds, and bright sunshine made it a very comfortable experience. The small shops along the streets are mostly a blend of French and Lao folk styles, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.
