Liyue Ancient Town - Dongting County in the Qin Dynasty

🏝Liyue means "dragging soil" in Tujia language and belongs to Longshan County, Xiangxi. It has a long history. As early as more than 6,000 years ago, there were human settlements in Liyue Town. It was the seat of Dongting County in the Qin Dynasty. 🏝In 2002, more than 37,400 Qin bamboo slips were discovered in a huge ancient well in Liyue Ancient City, far exceeding the total number of Qin bamboo slips unearthed in previous years.
