Escape from Beijing, explore the mystery of Black Bear Valley

Escape from the hustle and bustle of Beijing, a four-hour drive took us on a journey to Longhua County in Chengde, Hebei. The slight congestion on the road added a sense of anticipation for the adventure ahead. For accommodation, we chose the Jinsuiwan Hot Spring Resort. The environment here is between the surrounding farm stays and the upscale Yinlu and Yongguichuan, with moderate prices. The swimming pool and hot spring in the hotel added a lot of fun to our trip. The real surprise was the Black Bear Valley Scenic Area. This niche attraction, not yet well-known to the public, gave us an unforgettable experience. We drove there, parked near Bagouying, and then started our hiking journey. Along the way, we saw almost only cows and cowherds, which gave us a sense of seclusion from the world and was refreshing to the spirit. Although we couldn't reach the alpine meadow at the top of the mountain due to the weather, we were deeply attracted by the tranquility and beauty of the place. When navigating to Bagouying, we encountered road construction in the scenic area. Despite some twists and turns, it allowed us to experience the trip more deeply. For those who come after us, it is recommended to park at the village entrance parking lot and hike a bit more. This way, you can avoid the large vehicles on the construction section and better appreciate the scenery along the way.
