London | Must try spicy hotpot in East London

Back at Paomen Hot Pot — and pleasantly surprised that it’s even better than last time! We went for the classic yin-yang pot again. The tomato broth was rich and flavorful, and the mildly spicy broth was super tasty and friendly for my spice tolerance! We ordered the fatty beef rolls — the beef was incredibly fresh and cooked in seconds. Dip it in sesame sauce with chopped scallions... amazing! The shrimp paste was topped with fish roe, and once cooked, it was delightfully bouncy and tender. We also got the seafood fortune bags — a fun touch for good luck! The outer layer was soft and chewy, and biting into it released a burst of flavorful broth. The beef tripe portion was surprisingly generous, and it tasted fantastic in the tomato broth! The ox stomach was also super fresh — perfectly crunchy after a quick dip in the hotpot. As for the lemon tea — it was honestly so refreshing!
