London｜City tour on a cloudy day

Walking along the Thames, the sky is covered with a thick layer of clouds. Under the gray sky, the Tower Bridge of London quietly spans the river, like a guardian in an ancient cloak, witnessing the passage of time in this city. There is a constant stream of people on the bridge, office workers holding coffee hurrying by, and travelers holding up their mobile phones, trying to capture a perfect check-in photo in the hazy light. On the river, cruise ships slowly passed by, and the waves gently lapped against the shore, reflecting the blue and white decorations of the bridge and the towering Gothic towers. Although there was no sunlight, it added a retro and mysterious atmosphere. I stopped and leaned on the stone railing beside the bridge, feeling the breeze mixed with fine rain blowing on my face. The crowds around me surged like flowing water, but it did not affect my inner peace at all.
