Tower Bridge 🇬🇧
#londontrip
The famous Tower of London Bridge is definitely a place I would recommend to visit if you are in London. The views from above are spectacular and have glass floors that you can stand on to see the road and the River Thames from above. It also has many facts, videos, and even some interactive parts. Tickets also include access to engine rooms that were equally interesting. However, if you don’t want to wait 20-30 minutes, book in advance! Overall, the experience was an experience you didn’t want to miss!
It’s “just a part of the London scene” – I had no idea I could walk through the top of this iconic London structure! What a great experience The option of stairs or elevator takes visitors to the “top” and from here you have the option to walk through the length of the bridge through the glass walkway or across the “normal” floor! Great discussions and challenges on the part of most people. I admit I chose to do half and a half!
Although it was gray and cloudy, the views were great. It was great to see the Tower of London, which had been England’s tallest building for centuries, dwarfing in front of the city’s modern buildings.
From the walkway we were then able to visit the Victorian machinery gallery that once ran this bridge. Machines that were works of art! Definitely worth a visit.
Tower Bridge - Londoners fave landmark 🇬🇧
While visiting London, there are a few key landmarks you absolutely can not miss. Tower Bridge is definitely one of them! It amazes not only the visitors but also holds a special place in the hearts of many Londoners. It's not just a remarkable architectural structure but also a cherished symbol of the city's history and identity.
For locals, Tower Bridge represents more than just a crossing over the River Thames; it embodies the heritage and pride of London. Its iconic silhouette against the skyline is a constant reminder of the city's rich past and its continuous evolution.
Londoners often appreciate Tower Bridge for its beauty, engineering marvel, and the role it plays in connecting different parts of the city. Many have fond memories associated with the bridge, whether it's passing over it during their daily commute, enjoying the views from nearby locations, or taking part in events hosted in its vicinity.
To me, it's often a place of meetings and a beautiful backdrop to admire while going for walks along the River Thames. :) #falltrip #mytravelhacks #localguides #historicallandmarks #london

Located in the centre of London, right opposite the London bridge, Tower bridge is one of the iconic landmark that you need to visit in London. The construction of the building started since 1886. It took a total of 8 years old, 5 major constructors and 432 labours every day to build until it opened on 1894.
Getting to this place, it is very convenience for the tourists where you can drop off the Tower Hill station and walk for around 5-10 min to be here. Visiting London, it can be hard to decide what you should see. The Tower Bridge is one of those cannot miss places.
Head down to the South side of the Bridge (Tower Hill Station) and follow your route along the outskirts of Tower of London across to The Girl with a Dolphin Fountain (empty when I visited).
Even on a dull day, this captures a great shot of the bridge. Just before crossing to the Fountain, you can see these designs by local schools for the King’s Coronation.

The Thames: London's Lifeline and My Tranquil Escape
The Thames, London's flowing heart, weaves tales of the city's past and present.
Its currents echo centuries of history – from royal processions to modern-day bustle. I find solace along its banks, where the urban frenzy melts into serene waters.
Walking across iconic bridges, I'm greeted by the whispers of the past. The Tower Bridge's majesty, the Millennium Bridge's modernity – they connect more than just land.
The riverside promenades offer a refuge, a place to pause and reflect.
This river isn't just London's lifeline; it's my tranquil escape in the midst of the city's constant pulse.

Fantastic view from the glass walkway in Tower Bridge
Getting There - One of the nearest tube stations of Tower bridge is Tower Hill. You can take Victoria Line and other tube lines to this place. And then it takes several minutes to get the Tower Bridge.
Attractions - You can get to know the hidden history of construction of this bridge. The most exciting part is walking along the glass Walkway in the south and north tower and enjoy the view along the Thames. It is totally transparent. And you can see the pedestrians and the cars, buses so clearly.
Restaurants and Shopping- You can grasp some hot drinkings and have a taste of good food in the bar which is around the engine room.Pedestrian#london #towerview #towerbridge
The city closest to my heart ❤️
#londontrip My last trip to London, despite my previous visit to it more than once, but it was short and fleeting visits, and now after my last visit in which I stayed in London for more than 10 days, I decided to write and publish part of it, especially since I covered the most important tourist places in it and I have A rich information base and experience that qualifies me to talk about London with confidence.
But I will tell you about her most important teacher
It is the distinctive tower bridge in the bridge is the walkway located above and gives you a panoramic view of London from over the River Thames, and there is also a glass part in the walkway that you do not miss to try.
The Tower Bridge and Destroyer Belfast can be reached via London Bridge Underground Station on the Jubilee Line.
HMS Belfast
HMS Belfast is located near the Tower Bridge, and it is a retired warship. Visitors can wander around its five floors and see all its facilities, including weapons, command rooms, a hospital inside the ship, the kitchen, and the workshop. Frankly, it is a giant ship, in which everything has been provided in all the details and Since my visit to it, I have been wondering how humans managed to make a giant ship with all these fine details. Anyway, in order to visit the entire facilities of the ship, you need at least two hours.#londontrip
The Iconic Tower Bridge, London?🏴
When we talk about one of the tourist spots that one must visit in London for the first time then it is definitely The Tower Bridge of London. I have been seeing this bridge on TV , post cards, fridge magnets etc so my excitement was over the roof when we decided to fly to London. I couldn't help my self from singing the nursery song about it. It is just surreal that I was just singin it before but I was finally right on it , walking across it. Just brilliant.
Nearest Tube Station: 2 options for you depending on where and which line you are the nearest.
1. London Bridge Station on the Northern Line and Jubillee line
2. Tower Hill Station on Circle and District lines.
Enjoy!

The Blue Bridge of the Thames!
Location: London
This is Tower Bridge, situated on the river Thames beside the Shard. It is a historical landmark that can be seen from boat rides and from river walks.
Take a walk along the bridge and marvel at the granite and blue colours. The bridge sometimes lifts for boats to pass underneath.
Tip: Visit The Shard observation deck for an absolute stunning view of the bridge.

🌈Once in a lifetime trip🌏一生人點都要去一次🎡
London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times.
Westminster Bridge is one of the two most iconic London bridges in my opinion. The views across to Big Ben and parliament are stunning as you head north across the bridge. There are also fabulous views of London both sides of the bridge and a lovely view of the London Eye too as you cross the bridge to the south-side.
Downside is the bridge is very busy at times as it is right next to the London Eye/Aquarium etc and full of tourists, so you need to be careful of your belongings as there are pick-pockets in this area.
交通攻略-train from Heathrow airport to London Paddington only take 20mins.
當地名勝-Big Ben, Westminster hall, Westminster Bridge, Tower Bridge, The British Museum, Buckingham Palace.
酒店- Native King's Wardrobe.

Tower Bridge - London, UK
The most recognisable bridge in the world, and also the most “name-mistaken” bridge. Easily mistaken as the London Bridge, but actually it’s called Tower Bridge.
Tower Bridge was built between 1886 and 1894, it crosses the River Thames and is situated near to Tower of London.
You may travel across this bridge frequently when you’re in London, but don’t miss the Tower Bridge Exhibition located at the top of the bridge! Though it’s a paid exhibition, but I feel it’s worth a go for once. The entry is from the west side of the bridge.
You can reach Tower Bridge from Tower Hill or London Bridge tube stations.

Cherry blossoms bloom in London 🌺
Spring is just around the corner, which means longer days, warmer weather and flowers everywhere and good vibes in general. During this time of year, the beautiful landscapes of London come back to life.
The weather is quite pleasant and everything is colourful. I highly recommend visiting London during this time of the year and taking a walk along the river Thames and Tower Bridge Road. How great is the cherry blossom? 🌺🌺🌺💃🏻

Nightime London
Great walking locations. Not very close to each other but if you enjoy a long walk they are great. Carnaby Street with shops and a cool aesthetic, close to Oxford Street and food shops in Kingly Court
Tower Bridge - Down the riverside. Very enjoyable walk and nice atmosphere if you are visiting. You can also access the Uber Boats to take you to Canary Wharf, Greenwich and Battersea

Here Comes The Sun
Often confused with London Bridge, Tower Bridge is one of my favorite sites in London! Catching those bright red and blues on an uncommon sunny day is unlike anything else! Vendors selling souvenirs, as well as plenty of Fish and Chip shops abounding in the area make this a must stop spot on your walking tour of London. I also recommend walking around the area to see the bridge from different views, as well as hoping on the water taxi to get an unparalleled view from the famous River Thames!
TOWER BRIDGE London
Firstly, although the staff were great at sorting me out when I didn't have a paper ticket and just one on my phone, it is not good that paper tickets are needed (and they printed mine out). In today's age and ecological crisis, paper should not be needed. They need to sort that.
There is no wheelchair access that I could see. Lots of stairs both up and down so be aware! There's also not a huge amount to see in the towers themselves. Considering this is not a free attraction, I would expect more.

London old and new living in harmony
There are many places in the world where you can find modern buildings. Sky scrapers that have taken the place of a life long past.
In London however you can find the most modern building next to one that has been there over a hunderd years. It is not far from the London City with the Shard, Loyds, the Cheese Grater and other fancy buildings to Tower Bridge, just east or st Paul's Cathedral west and about 5 minutes further one of the few remaining original pubs The Old Chesire Cheese.
The current pub was rebuild after the great fire over 300 years ago and well worth a visit, located at Fleet Street just minutes away from.st Paul's.
I recommend you stay near Tower Bridge in the Indigo hotel and after a good breakfast cross Tower Bridge and walk and cross the Thames again just after London bridge to see St Paul's, the West end, Covent Garden, Neals Yard and Westminster with Big Ben, the Wheel and the famous guards.
This is a good walk and will take you most of the day. Bus 15 at Charing Cross will take you back to just outside the hotel where you can relax before eating in one of the many restaurants. For Chinese try My Old Place about 5 minutes away, for Thai the restaurant next to the hotel or have one of the many other cuisines available.
If you arrive at Heathrow take the new Elizabeth line, and safe at least £18, on a quick transfer.
Snippets Inside Of Tower Bridge
When holidaying in London, one will definitely head to the Tower Birdge located on the Thames River at Tower Bridge Road, London SE1 2UP. Of course the Thames river isn't the most beautiful or romantic river due to its murky waters but you should at least take a visit inside of the Tower Bridge to see what goes on inside this amazing Bridge that has now become an attraction for many tourists.
The visit to Tower Bridge opens daily from 9am and closes at 6pm where you are require to purchase a ticket to enter where this will be a guided tour towards the machine room on how the Bridge open and close to let shops true, the story behind this Bridge and of course the dare to walk across a glass panel Bridge. Each ticket here cost from 11euro per adult and half the price for kids below a certain age.

Tower Bridge as seen from the boat
#meetlondon #london #visitlondon #towerbridge
Some photos from Tower Bridge and the Tower of London as seen from our boat trip on the River Thames. Beautiful day and fantastic scenery.
When in London, make sure to jump on a boat and enjoy a little trip on the river - it's a must do activity.
The cheapest option is to use thr Thames Clipper or as it's called these days the Uber boat. You can pay contactless or using your Oyster card.
Let us know if you have been there and what your enjoyed the most.
