Shot – Marylebone

Shot Coffee in Marylebone brings a luxurious, elevated experience to coffee drinking. Located near the bustling Oxford Street and Bond Street shopping district, and just a short walk from Bond Street or Marylebone tube stations, this posh establishment has been running for a year. The décor and atmosphere are reminiscent of a high-end cocktail bar, with black and golf tones giving it a luxe, sophisticated feel. The bar counter is more like something you’d find in a luxury hotel, with premium coffee equipment, crockery, and utensils adding to the experience. The attention to detail extends to the service, with brew crew uniforms and presentation being polished and refined. Financiers and mini cakes are beautifully displayed, adding to the elegant ambiance. Surprisingly, prices for the ‘usual suspects’ coffees are more than reasonable. I ordered a regular latte, which cost £3.70 which is still cheaper than Joe & The Juice, but their signature ice cube Spanish latte, priced at an eye-watering £9. The house blend—a mix of Sumatra, Brazilian, and Ethiopian beans—delivers a full-bodied, smooth, and nutty flavor. The latte was excellent, with a strong and aromatic coffee character that I appreciated. The ice cube Spanish latte was an interesting presentation, featuring three frozen espresso cubes served in a long glass over condensed milk, with warm steamed milk poured over. It was visually impressive and tasted good.
